Hope springs eternal

In many Christmas celebrations this year, a recurring theme seems to be hope. I know I definitely need it. Hope, something to look forward to, knowing that things will turn out for the best are all reflected in modern movies, music and literature. We all need hope and Christmas is a good time to remind ourselves of this!

Tripti & Aditi came over for the day, and we watched a brilliant handmime by her classmate Sarah from CSI hospital, Trichi – set to Amazing Grace. Watch it for Christmas – like the star of Bethlehem, may hope and grace shine brightly for you!

(NB: Amma was a keynote speaker at a Faith-Based Health Care conference in East Jerusalem last month. We sing carols of peace and love, in a world still full of injustice and hate. We must keep hoping…)
